Betsy Upham, founder and sewist of Upstitch, has an obsession with beautiful patterns and fabrics. Her decade-plus of experience as an upholsterer, fabric consultant and project manager and her academic background in the history of the visual and decorative arts gives her the unique ability to not only produce a well-made custom product, but also offer decorating consultations. She draws inspiration from the outdoors and Maine’s long tradition of skilled makers.
